REQUEST FOR VOLUNTEERS This comes from Revd Rowena Bass, part of the Chaplaincy team at the Cavell Centre (next door to Edith Cavell Hospital). We are looking for volunteers to help with our Sunday worship. The Sunday communion service takes place on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month, at 9.30am in the Sanctuary at the Cavell Centre. The service is no longer that 40 minutes, and is followed by refreshments with a chance to chat to patients. We need volunteers to help with tea/coffee, to play the keyboard for well known hymns and to be a welcoming presence. If you could help once or twice a month, once or twice a year or just occasionally that would be fine. Please contact Rowena on 075075 62741 for further details. Thank you.

It brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations worldwide through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of Gods love. Here are some ways you can make a difference in the lives of those children:
PRAY. Please pray that God will touch the heart of every child who receives a shoe box gift and that He will bring many children and families to faith in Christ.
PACK A GIFT. A shoe box filled with small toys and other gifts can open hurting hearts to Gods love.
If you have a shoebox please hold onto it or if you can obtain a shoebox or a number of shoeboxes please bring them to church. Leaflets and shoeboxes will be available over the launch weekend.
